Services Available
Iowa Center on Health Disparities conducts a wide variety of research projects on issues affecting the well-being of diverse and underserved populations in Iowa. These research projects include minority health needs assessments, program evaluations, behavioral risk factor surveys, nutrition assessments, community health planning surveys, strategic planning analyses, and many others. The Iowa Center on Health Disparities also offers professional consulting advice and technical assistance to organizations delivering services to, or conducting research on, special populations in Iowa. These special populations can include minorities, refugees, immigrants, farm families, women, children, the elderly, the homeless, people with disabilities, and others with unique health issues and barriers to care.
