Iowa Center on Health Disparities
is pleased to offer a 15-hour certificate
in Global Health and Health Disparities from the
University of Northern Iowa for working professionals.
This on-line training program is ideal for nurses, doctors, social workers,
teachers, and other human service providers wishing
to gain greater knowledge and skills in working with
diverse and underserved populations in a culturally
competent manner. This 15-hour certificate can be
completed at the learner’s own pace, and can
help provide valuable information to working professionals
who are challenged with addressing the health needs
of diverse and underserved populations in a culturally
competent manner. Courses may be taken individually
through Continuing Education at the University of
Northern Iowa, or as a complete certificate. For
